To understand why you would choose us, let’s take a look at the different types of discounted realty services that you may come across. There are companies who offer a so called “Full Service” for a discounted real estate commission. Sounds good initially, but look deeper and you will often find that the broker or agent is not located in your city or sometimes even your state. Putting your most valuable asset in the hands of someone who is not intimately familiar with your community is not going to get you the best price for your home. It is also not going to help a buyer find the best home for their family. This is usually going to be the best case scenario for these types of services as it gets worse from here. Often times the “Full Service” means the Broker paying an unskilled and certainly unqualified office worker to become the lead or point person on your transaction. This whole concept further deteriorates when the commissions are reduced even more or a flat fee is introduced. At this point your Full service partner means you doing all the work and the broker charging a fee for an extremely expensive “How too guide.” Engaging in this type of approach the seller is likely setting themselves up for failure as your home may not sell and you still end up paying their fee or just wasting your valuable time. No matter how easy the service claims their process is, the fact remains that the majority of us simply do not have the time or expertise to do all that it takes to sell our own homes…..and certainly not for the highest price.
Take a moment to go over the list below as these are just some of the basic topics to consider when selling your home. Depending on the service you choose, you will be responsible for some if not all of these items.
